Sunday, February 21, 2010 at 04:17PM Oh yeah!! We are tossing around the idea of putting together our own version of a FABULOUS Childbirth Preparation Class. Right now we are in the gather and organize stage of ideas and information. Look for our class to be ready for the public by Summer 2010.
Saturday, February 20, 2010 at 05:29PM Sunday, November 15, 2009 at 07:35PM Vanessa Pisias had her beautiful baby boy on Monday, November 9th @ 9:38pm. She had a challenging birth with LOTS of painful back labor. She was planning a home birth with her fabulous Midwives but after an exhausting 14 hours with the last five arrested at 7cm, she really wanted to transfer to the hospital. Just a few hours after she received an epidural, her little man made his entrance. Vanessa and her husband Diego are so happy enjoying their Babymoon.
Vanessa will be back to doula-ing with a lot more empathy and compassion (if you can imagine that!) for our families in 2010. She will be starting slowly by taking only families she has already doula-ed for until she is ready to come back full time.
